  3. Cooking post not getting much action, Did i misread the interest? Do you still want to have a cooking class? I will follow your lead and vibe for this project.

  4. Knowing that eating healthy doesn't always have the greatest taste, but you're doing something for your own body and it will make you a "better" person .

  5. what actually are we going to eat i want to know different foods like keenwa

  6. We could do it on Day 3's because that's the only day we have Mr.Cheney all morning.Mr.Cheney should make the menu because he knows whats healthy and all and we should all just give in money for the groceries.

  8. I agree with Janat it should be up to you Mr.Cheney on what the menu should be. But for a few ideas we can have poached eggs , oatmeal, flaxseed, blueberries & almonds, scrambled tofu, grapefruit with whole-wheat toast & almond butter , fresh fruit salad etc..etc.. And as Janat said day 3 is the best day because we have 4 periods to cook and clean up that should be enough time. We will think about the groceries according to the menu so if we make something that needs lots of ingredients we can make it 30 dollars per person but i do think that is too much so maybe 20- 25 dollars for about 5-9 times of cooking. Pots and pans can be taken from Mrs.Jardine's room. We can plan a day ahead on what pots and pans we need and either we use something other then what we need or if someone has it at home can bring it in

  9. I agree with janet and neha it SHOULD be up to be mr. cheney to decide what our menu will be and I also think that day 3 would be a good day to have the cooking classes because all four periods are with cheney

  10. we can start preparing or own eatmeal dish that comes with strawberries or a fruit of your choice and Neha remember that bread is all not so good for you. It's a healthy cooking morning. Really I don't know what we should pick. And maybe we can make a garden salad with only lime juice as our dressing with some red and green peppers and the poached eggs with some pure tropicana orange juice.

  11. i agree with janat tht we can do this on day 3 because on day 3 we have mr.cheney all morning and i think tht we should include eggs or milk type of ingredients in our food bcuz they have protein and everyone can bring in some pots and we all can collect money for the groceries

  13. I think we should include at least 3 different sections from the food nutrition guide. That will be the best and @Sonic it is important to eat some type of a grain. Its not about eating nothing bad but its about having a balanced meal

    1. We have cooking club in Ms.Jardine's room and they have pots, knives, cutting boards and many plates. I'm pretty sure there's no egg poachers. They also have the cleaning supplies.

    2. Explore on line for clever ways to creat egg poaches,

    3. You can make them out of empty tuna cans. Just use a can opener to remove the bottom and top. Then take out any labels and wash with warm water. You can use the tuna can or just a big spoon. Crack the egg into the spoon(maybe a laydel or something with a hooked handel. Then lower it in the water and cook it.

The pots are different sizes but some are fairly big. I think they're good to make oats. And there's also pans for poaching.
