We were introduced today to Dan and Sarah's Mothers. Both took a drastically different approach to handling their children.
What was you first impressions of them?

We have finally been introduced to Dan. Share your 5 words to describe this new character:
As well, in your workbooks you selected the character you would most likely hang out with. Now look at the question in reverse. Why would you NOT hang out with the remaining characters?
A comical look at "cheating" an exam. Appreciate that the actor NEVER speaks, he only uses body language and motion to sell the scene.

Are next read aloud and novel study is going to be The Cheat by Amy Goldman Koss
Just examining the cover what do you think this book is going to be about? Any predictions on the types of characters, teachers, problems that might happen.
Read the review/summary below and check out the authors website and then post your predictions.
Summary:
Memorizing the letters out for the geography midterm was the easy part. Put the letters to the tune of Row Your Boat, "Animal animal cat boy cat." Memorize them in a poem form. Whatever it takes. When you have the all the answers, that's the easy part. Getting caught, now that's when it gets sticky. And so it is in to hot water for Sarah, Dan, and Rob, who were all given the test by a student that only Sarah knows. Each sees the ramifications of their actions in different ways and have to struggle, or not, with what it means about them, personally.

Last year the class won the competition and raised over 3000 items. Most of those items were essential and important diapers. Importantly, the class learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and following through on plans.

Hello Team,
Lets have some fun predicting the outcome of our Pyramid game tomorrow!
Thamil and Stanley lead 3-2 after the 1st round. Each side avoiding History and Rebound and going for words that begin with certain letters.
Whats going to happen next? and who is going to win! The 4 time Champs Stanley and Thamil or the upbeat challengers Nicole and Lisa?
and a tip of the cap to Thamil and Stanley for setting the bar high and being the most successful champions thus far.
