Hello Team, We have been introduced to all the main characters except for Dan (although he has been mentioned by Rob and Ruby)
Who do feel you are most like?
Why? what characteristics do you share?
So what would you do in the situation? waiting outside the principals office for cheating on your mid term exam. The pressure is building what is going to happen, your mind is running wild trying to anticipate the possible scenarios. What do you do?

i think that i am like Katie because she was smart to look over her work and find out all her mistakes.i am like her because i always look over my work and i found out a lot of my mistakes.
ReplyDeleteI think can just tell the truth to the principle and never do it again I've heard the saying one lie turns into a thousand lies.So finish the consequences and move on.
ReplyDeleteI am more like Katie if I do have the cheat answers I would recheck it because who ever gave the answers to me will maybe lie to me just to make me fail.

ReplyDeletebecause I've been in the same type of situation when someone tells me the answers before hand and then I find that somethings is wrong but I don't realize that if one answer is wrong all of them are wrong I think to myself that only that one is wrong.
I would be so nervous and scared because I haven't really been in the office for trouble maybe for injuries but not for trouble cheating and getting in trouble is a huge thing. I would be panicking so badly my legs trembling and heart pounding and hands shaking I could imagine that happen to me if I were to be in the same situation.
I think I'm more like Rob because Rob is the one who is scared of geting told to his dad about his behavior. I'm like him because when any teacher starts talking to him, after the convo, he starts screaming at me like I'm a monkey. All he talks about is how much I should study and it bugs me alot. Rob is scared because the principal was going to tell on Rob how Rob and the others have the cheat test. My story and his story are somewhat alike because we are both scared of our parents and if anythings happen, then good lucks are going to be asking.
ReplyDeleteI think im more like Katie because she's one that even though just wasting time looks over her work and figures out mistakes like for ex. our music test i was done a while ago but i dont know i just ended up looking over my work because i had nothing to do and so i found mistakes i may not be so good in music as sonali is but i know the difference of a whole rest and half rest ;)

I think I'm more Like Rob Because when i got suspended i was afraid of the consequences when i got home because i was scared of getting in trouble and now days Parents tend to get creative over the years with there punishments

ReplyDeleteRob was the one to panick about getting called to the office and getting a call to his house. I always panick like he does when i get in trouble, i dont think of anything except them calling my mom and dad. but i dont talk loudly i just think in my head.

@mario: its good to check over your work when you are cheating because you never know.... its better to do things with your own knowledge then with other peoples knowledge
ReplyDeleteI feel I'm most like Rob because once I go down to the office it's all down hill from there. If they say, I could call him I'd dial the wrong phone number. As long as he didn't find out that I was at the office. I'm in that current situation right now with Mrs. Fletcher! I'm lucky I have caller ID. As long as my dad doesn't find out. I won't confess I did something wrong, like Rob.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna make up a lie about them bullying me into cheating so that they could blame it on someone if they get caught. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to get out of that room. Though the sweat will build up, I'll try to hide it. And then lie outta there. Maybe I'll even try to blame it all on Dan and Sarah since, they started all of this if they haden't met over the week none of this would ever happen.

i would definitely not be like sarah because i dont intend to give cheat sheets, or take them. but in the situation i would be like katie, not freaking out at such things, like ruby, or stressing out like rob. i wouldn't want more consequences or my mom to find out so i would say a lie that would take the situation to another level were i wont get in trouble. i would blame sarah in this situation, because, as the author said, we don't know sarah for so long, so i would put the blame on her.
ReplyDeleteI think that I am more like Ruby because she is annoying and talkative. She always says like. I have my own word as well (it's in Polish). I would do the same thing she did. I would make up some story to make me look dumb, talk like no tomorrow, and make sure that the teacher gets tried of me and walks away. And I would do the same thing over again in the office.

ReplyDeleteI feel most like Rob because of what he is going trough when he goes like "my dad is gonna kill me...my dad is gonna kill me...my dad is gonna kill me...". That is exactly what I would be doing after if I begged Katie for the test answers and I would obviously beg again to not be told on but would then doubt that she wouldn't tell on me.
ReplyDeleteI would think about running and hiding and check out what is happening and go home but, in a real life scenario it wouldn't be that easy to do that a bunch of teachers looking at me I would be in a pale white no expression look and wouldn't be able to talk, move and whatnot.
I would be talking to the principle and maybe "snitch" at the others.
I think Im like Ruby because im crazy just like her!!!! Saying random things like~like it was like so like awesome like totally and ya I'm alSO like that although I don't say like like like alot but I still say weird things and annoy people like some people might find Katie annoying because she's always acting like a girly girl and also she might annoy people when she's talking because I figured she might talk alot ( like me~Im talkative)

@Green when you're doing the foolish stuff its like a mental take over the rush of awesomeness blocks the common sense part of you're brain making you not want to stop fooling around until afterwards then you understand that you're done

ReplyDeleteI think I'm most like Rob because I probably would have done the same in that situation. He was the only one who rechecked his answers, even though he cheated. I think we would both panic in that situation, except I would probably go with my gut and change the answer.
ReplyDeleteIn that situation, I probably would have been drowning in panic. Maybe I would have thunk of a nice lie, not to deny the whole thing but to lighten up my punishment and my action.

ReplyDeletePut your self in their shoes and realize that, isn't what we always would say in the situation to lying. Why would we tell them the truth when we can perfectly lie about it and regret it after. I know it's kinda hard to feel empathy, (even though you got the empathy award) within books because these people aren't real.

ReplyDeleteYes, but there have been many situations that I have actually lied and it lead me into more trouble.And I would not want to do that again I as I have learned my lesson.Many people think that if you get away with lie why not make another one and then you will keep adding lies and eventually people will find out the truth.
@green ranger: well thats what happens! cheating as we all know is not a good thing to do but still we do it but remeber its good to have your own knowledge then other people knowledge because how do you really know they were paying attention and its the right information...would you say its easy to cheat but hard to do the right thing?

If I was in the situation where waiting outside the principals office for cheating on my mid term exam. I would panic and then i would tell the truth and face the consequences. But if I ever cheated on my mid term exams my mom would kill me.
