i think jake and dan are too doubtful because jake thought sarah would turn him in.

and dan is always thinking that people are trying to get him into trouble.
i think sarah is interesting, but i think that i wouldnt get along with her very well.
i think katie is a person i wouldnt mind hanging out with, but she could also be doubtful because she is so nervous about what may happen.
and ruby is very funny, but with her attitude,
and the way she thinks and talks, i wouldnt get along very well with her either.

ReplyDeleteBased on what i've heard so far, Dan seems careless, self-absorbed, cocky, ignorant and disrespectful.
I wouldnt hang out with dan or ruby. They both seem to have a simular personality, they both are self-centred. The way dan thinks hes so cool, and the way ruby talks about others like she is so superior. I dont know about jake's full personality because i only understood how he was when he likes sarah.
I would hang out with katie, rob and maybe sarah...

I wouldn't hang out with Dan because of his personality which as I said are conceited,stupid etc, Rob because it seems like he would tell on my if he we did something bad and not cover for me like a good friend would, because it seems like he may be the first to crack, i don't know much about Jake expect for he likes Sarah and gave her the answers, and Ruby because she is also like Dan and very self-absorbed.
@Yellowranger, would you consider jake as a main character ?Because we mostly only have heard of him from others and we only had one part where we actually read about his thought and the way he talk and expresses himslef is kinda of odd like toothpaste smile -while he was describing sarah.
ReplyDelete@JAN101 I think Jake is one of the main characters because he is the one that caused all of this because he stole the last years test results from his sister and gave it to Sarah so if he didn't do that none of this would have happened, so he is a very important character in the text.

i think that katie usually gets good grades and so, the principal may not have doubt on her for cheating.
the rest may not do that good, which made the principal think that they were cheating, and maybehe found proof that they were cheating.

I wouldn't hang out with Rob because he seems like one of the in confident type, and your friends are a big factor in how you do in school. If your friends are smart, your smart, If they play ball, you play ball, if they swear most likely you swear too. I mean let's face it we all have standards that we want our friends to meet. Ruby seems like a really kinda, like, annoying like person. The type of friends that think their better than you, make you follow them around, not considering what you have to say because their too busy talking LIKE this. Sarah seems like that kind of pretty girls who really don't know anything but looks. She doesn't get much from people, because she's too busy thinking about that hot guy who just moved in. I mean she might have some sense, but to me it seems like she has none. Katie I might hang out with her, but I don't know much about her. Jakes the kinda guy I'd hang out with, holding his morals and values above all other things and beating himself up for not holding the courage to go into the office and save everyone from their fear. I know he ran away at first but we didn't read on and I think while he's walking back to class his brain will tell his body to turn around and his conciseness will agree. And Mr Chen I wouldn't wanna hang with him because he's a teacher.

or is it because he checked over the rest of his answers and then wrote down the answers he had?
I think it was a lucky moment because he talked in his head about how dad watches this show every time so how was this wrong, and then he said "No brainer" I think. So it was by luck that he caught it with his eye and remembered what he was doing was wrong and then he remembered his dad and him watching the show.

Generally this is very true, I mean most of my friends are smart and they are an influence upon me as I am an influence to them. Our morals and values are mainly shared by us and our friends, because what is a friend. Dictionary.com- a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard meaning that you have somethings in common. Like sports or school something you can relate to and as you move closer to them you start sharing what they believe.

I don't think I would hang out with any other character besides Ruby or katie because I don't think I would be able to work/get along with the others. I say this because rob would just anoy me by freaking out about things I mean yes i might freak out if I ever had to go down to the office ( that is if I'm a first timer ) but still rob to me sounds like a person who freaks out about almost everything. Dan I wouldn't wanna hang out with because he seems to over confident like a know-it-all would sound like. I think if I hung out with him he would just ignore me because since he doesn't really care about girls also he'll just make me mad by saying "chill man leave everything on me, everythings okay" and just try to make up things to try and BE A MAN! and show he's all that and that it doesn't strike him if he has to go to the office, like it's nothin. Sarah I think spends too much time thinking about herslf and that she wouldn't really pay attention to me ( her friend) and most likely we'll end up not being friends. So I don't think I would be such good friends with any one else then Ruby. I have alot in common with Ruby. ReplyDeleteI think that rob will cave in to pressure and then BEG Mr.Chen to forgive him, and then all the other students are going to look at him and go what is wrong with that kid? Mr Chen will be all soft and let them off the hook but then another adventure begins. Last Term Report Cards. Everyone wants high marks, Sarah, Ruby, Katie, Dan, Rob, Jake so they find themselves in the same situation. (I'm predicting towards the end of the book) Should they cheat? Dan will really want those marks, Sarah wants a new laptop, Rob wants a good future but are they really gonna sacrifice their whole mark for a cheat sheet? We'll find out.

ReplyDeleteThe article in which we read today in class I think it might be true. I came back from hockey at like 7 and then I took a math questions sheet suprisingly the answers came easy to me and it was one of my most hated areas of Math, Geometry. I did it faster than my older brother who was sitting on the ps3.

I would not hang out with the remaining characters because like Katie, Dan and the others except Rob I would not hang out with because they don't act so realistic like Sarah Colyae she is all calm and not really thinking about the possibilities of what could happen to her she could get expelled,suspended etc. and she isn't caring one bit.
Unlike Rob, they aren't all so scared they think that only the cool people get out of things like that but put it back to our lifes "cool" kids wouldn't easily get out of things like this.
now back to the story nobody will be all calm like that so these characters seem all too fictional so this story doesn't appeal to much to me because of it being hard to catch up to and it having to be all to easy to predict.

i wouldnt hang out with anyone because all of the charecters are different in their own p;aces which i dont like about any of them. if i had to chose someone to hang out with it would be some what katie, because katie doenst say like~like alot(which just gets annoying) and she seems to be abit realistic to some of the girls in our school. also she is the only girl who seesm to be different from the other. katie goes overboard with things, sarah doesnt seem to care about anything much(the fact that she doesnt care about what might to her when she will get caught), rob is okay to hang out with, but if im new at that school id like to habngout with a girl, dan is just weird(as sonali said he thinks that he is/ he acts like a know-it-all), ruby says like like alot and se goes "girly type" overboard.
@ sonali, lets say ruby comes to our school and sits righht beside you and starts her like~like buissness then wouldnt you feel annoyed, like at any point? i wouldnt be able to put up with her for a long time, i get annoyed whem my cousin starts cryig every 2 min for no reason, even when shes 3!
ReplyDelete@ luigi, ruby did have the answers to the test so i dont think that ruby didnt cheat. sarah gave the answers to all the charecers(katie, ruby, rob, dan, jake, and herself), also she is a persom who is involved and knows about the concept.

he doesn't look like a trouble maker because everyone else wasn't really worried as he was. So this makes me think that Rob is new to being in trouble which makes him look like a good person. Rob taking those answers must have been an accident
I don't like Ruby because she is all about herself and annoying because she says "like" too many times.
Dan seems like a jock which we have spoken in class about so far to me he is stupid and self centered.
Sarah is a doubtful and smart I wont hang out with her because maybe she can trick me as she did with Rob.

i think the most reasonable thing is that katie usually does well on tests, and so no one raelly thinks she cheated.
maybe she even answered some wrong to make it look like she didnt cheat.
i think when dan's mom will come,
she will be upset, but wont freak out.
her personalities and dan's is similar.

I think that Dan should be more kind to others and mostly girls. I think that he does not treat Ruby the proper way, but I sort of understand him, since that she says like every second word would also tick me off. He should also start not really worrying about "losing his cool" because he is a Jock and really i bet if I would go to that school, he will most likely not being even close to 'cool'.

ReplyDelete@ Prabhjot I think that the story isn't realistic because I wouldn't know anybody that would just be all calm and stuff after being called up for cheating on the test that they took. This is my thought because comparing to Rebound and other things there wouldn't be any difference from the higher classed and the lower classed when it comes to all of them being the victims of this.Like Sean and David when they got called up because of the fight between the high school guys and them.They both were not calm.

ReplyDeleteSonic, I don't think there equal because if you fail , you just didn't pass and are upset about it but when you cheat , its different.One-There is always a chance of getting caught or staying safe.Two-There's always some guilt in people for cheating.Three-If you get caught then you would decide to do it again.Four-If your teachers find out your cheating , they have a close eye on you and watch usu closely
