Can Food Drive

Do you want to participate?

What class goals should we have?

Who wants to take on the Leadership and organization?

Last year the class won the competition and raised over 3000 items.  Most of those items were essential and important diapers.  Importantly, the class learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and following through on plans.

What are your thoughts?

  2. @ mr cheney we can bring around $5 each and a few items to start, because as you said the commitment to the task in our class is horrible

    ReplyDelete
  3. I would like to be a leader too

    ReplyDelete
  4. @ mr.cheney
we should bring 5 cans each for start and then see what happens, if works we go for more items.

    22x5=110

items this will maybe get done in the next week so, we can raise 110 items up till the next week. Then we can get more ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  5. @tulsi I agree with we should start by bringing five dallor but first we should ask people if it is OK for everyone.also see if every one is committed.

    ReplyDelete
  6. @Mario I think we should bring five dallors along with the cans

    ReplyDelete
  7. @ sana we got that plan ready but what about the next step? we have to get everyone commited to the task, because even 1 or 2 items can make a difference. by looking at our class we re still waiting on three peoples poppy money and we dont want that to happen for the drive, so everyone has to be mottivated and convinced to bring what they can.

    ReplyDelete
  8. this is irrelivent to the post, but what do we have for math?

and we can bring in 10 - 15 dollars, and bring in 5 or 10 food items.

    ReplyDelete
  9. So everyone should be able to bring 5 $ or 5 cans

    ReplyDelete
  10. @malav math is PG 126 9 and 10
    PG 127 1-5
We should start of with a small goal and then go big so I say let leave it to five dallors.

    ReplyDelete
  11. i am with abeeshan i think we should bring 5 cans
and then after we finish that we can bring $5.so 110 cans and then $110 which will give us more cans and after that we will get more.

    ReplyDelete
  12. @ Tulsi, I didn't say horrible, but this class has displayed hesitancy to get fully involved. What has been clear is how infectious it can become. When one decides not to follow so many quickly get involved.

in the bigger picture, its this type of behaviour (it happens everywhere and all the time) that makes saving the environment, stopping crime, ending poverty so difficult. One doesn't do it or is willing to help and countless others follow the lead.

    ReplyDelete
  13. a smaller goal is doable, why not make a plan that can get 1000 can food items.

and yes, participation will need to be CONFIRMED before we can begin.

    ReplyDelete
  14. But I will add, that in the 3 years that I have raised over 1000 items (1084, 2987, 3094), those classes never started small, they all went BIG.

    ReplyDelete
  15. i would like to be a leader

i think 5$ with 15 items for the start, then we could gradually raise it

    ReplyDelete
  16. @ Sana
I think that will be too fast too early
I think we should slowly gradually increase the donation because that's will be a lot of pressure if we come all at once right?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I would be a leader too

    ReplyDelete
  18. @ Mr.Cheney
    the question is:
can the class handle such a big amount of donation at the start?

    ReplyDelete
  19. @ Mr.Cheney
how much time do we have for the drive?

    ReplyDelete
  20. everyone can bring in 3 bucks to start with

    ReplyDelete
  21. @ BLUERANGER
so when we bring as you said 3 dollars what do we do with that money?

    ReplyDelete
  22. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  23. 13 school days to collect.

In previous years we bang it out fast. Money does need to come quickly, that's why we need everybody to post on the blog what they are committed to bringing.

It's up to you what you want to do.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I take the money and buy diapers

Its the most important item being collected.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @mario we can buy stuff or double that money some how then buy

    ReplyDelete
  26. okay, now by looking at how much time we have, we can't go small to big in 3 weeks I don't know about that. I think since Mr.Cheney has experienced this many times, we should go with his idea:go big from the start like the previous clases he had.
OUR MINIMAL GOAL IS 1000 right?

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ Blueranger and Mr.Cheney

    ok thanks for explaining
ya I think we can do that
also, how is diaper more valuable? is their different points for each type of item or is like diaper count as 2 items?

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Mr Cheney if we can't go to the store can u buy it ?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I wanna help with the food drive :)
    Is there any job left?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I always do the shopping

Diapers are more important to the food bank, families need diapers, and they use lots of them.

as well easy to buy and transport in my car

    ReplyDelete
  31. I would love to be a leader! Yes i would love to participate!! Not just we can win but because it’s a good cause. I will for sure donate money and bring items.
But i'm thinking either we can do 10 dollars and 20 items or if you don't give 10 dollars then bring in like 40 items...But i find bringing in 10 dollars is better because then Mr.Cheney can go out a buy things that is needed more of then just food because a lot of parents don't want to go out and buy food because they don't get the time too so i find it better that if our parents and us cant go and buy it just give the money to Mr.Cheney and i'm pretty sure he'll use the money wisely so we can have a few quite items.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Mr.Cheney: if last year you guys raised more than 3000 items that's AMAZING! Because that's this years goal 3000 so i'm pretty sure Ms.Jackson will be more than proud of the school and most people around the world will have a better holiday

For baby items there's not only Diaper's there's also baby food and shampoo so its called a food drive because that's what is mostly given but there are still non-edible items that can be given

    ReplyDelete
  33. also another thing is if we do start with 3 dollars who ever is marking it don't put a star put an amount because some people can start with 3 dollars but that's all they will bring what about the rest of the 7 dollars. This is important because we are making a commitment..

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think at first we need some background information :A Quick FAQ Sheet About Hunger and Food for Others.....@Mr.Cheney: in the morning on your schedule put pictures of the food drive like people helping out...have a fact a day so everyday for 13 days we should have like a quote or something....So for example one can be in FY 2005 the food drive helped 14,649 families in need. Between 2001 and 2005 they saw an increase of 116% in the number of families requesting emergency food assistance.

    ReplyDelete
  35. √ Check that the items are still within the “use before” date.
√ We can only accept unopened items in their original packaging. It’s ok if the external
packaging is damaged, so long as the internal packaging is still intact.
Here are some rules about the food drive so before bringing any food we should check this list...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Another thing is most of us have Facebook ,twitter, and msn so we can put it as our status or tweet it to remind people about the drive going on we wont post our plan just like a reminder to bring in food because a lot of people go on the internet and go to social group chats and stuff about once a day so instead of Mr.Cheney always reminding we can remind.

    ReplyDelete
  37. i will put 10 dollars in my bag right now. but i dont have can foods as of yet

    ReplyDelete
  38. Again I want to highlight that were a small class that doesn't mean we can't reach our full potential. I'm not gonna underestimate our class like the voters for the heads up competition. We've won competitions before we'll do it again.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @ Mr.Cheney
I'm bringing 5 dollars for now
also I have no cans for now

    ReplyDelete
  40. @ neha
how about if it was one item like a jam jar instead of a package of jam jars?
can you bring an item that was from a package but now seperated?

    ReplyDelete
  41. @mario:umm if its like a pack of jam jars came together and now separated i'm pretty sure that's fine like an example could be ragu sauce they can come together but also separated right that's what your trying to say right? if yes then yea i'm pretty sure you can..i can double check on Monday

and about the packaged items umm im not so sure about that but i guess i can check for you i'll get back to you about that

    ReplyDelete
  42. @ neha
okay thanks for making that clear
by the way that's exactly what im trying to say
you're in the student council right?

    ReplyDelete
  43. @tutty(the sauce boss): just because there aren't many people in our class downstate mean we cant go big if we really are committed to this project we can do it we just need a few more people

    ReplyDelete
  44. @mario: your welcome and yes i am in student council so i will ask on Monday and tell you

    ReplyDelete
  45. @ neha
yes I agree since Mr.Cheney's previous classes succeeded, I think so can we we just need more people to participate and tell the class that they are committed.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @tutty good point I agree with you if we did it before we can always do it now this ear will be better and we will prove that we can achieve this goal and show full class participation and aloo $10??? I have a feeling it would take more time for our class to bring in 10 dollars then 5 because up until now for the poppy money we still haven' gotten full class participation so..... ( and you guys are really using our classroom nicknames on the blog lol wow )

    ReplyDelete
  47. Great ideas Neha, I will investigate some research.

My class last year was barley bigger then this years, and we far exceeded are class expectations, it was the greatest moment our class had last year.

An unbelievable sense of real team and pride.

  49. @Peach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Princess Daisy Verify yourselves

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Sonali(Mustachio, Peach!!!!)
I started it and Thamils probably gonna use it cept hell add Aloo Packora!

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Mr Cheney how much money do we bring in to start with on Monday?

    ReplyDelete
  52. @blue ranger: i think it doesn't matter bring in as much as you want to....so like i think we shouldn't go under 5 dollars for our starting point so i guess 5 dollars and higher....what do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Why don't we start with $10 each person because it could get us a higher start to begin with. Also we don't have as much time as before so we have to act fast and bring in the money and items earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Lets designate jobs

in charge of collecting money and recording cash

in charge of collecting cans and recording numbers brought in

in charge of motivating and reminding students

    ReplyDelete
  55. can i collect the money and record the cash?

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Mr.Cheney: just encase you didn't know i am Neha

    ReplyDelete
  57. @ Neha yea but not everyone can bring in 5 dollars right away we should make it 5 dollars in the first 3 days everyone should of brag it in

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Mr.Cheney I would love to be a leader and @tutty princess daisy is neha and princess peach is me sonali ( mustachio rachio ) lol and of course you started it who else would? and teu that thamil might use aloo pakora lol weird people i know :):):):):):):):):):):):)

    ReplyDelete
  59. @tutty how did you find out that it was me sonali? cuz you wrote @sonali (mustachio, peach!!!) so im guessing you knew it was me?

    ReplyDelete
  60. @mr.cheney I will pack my cans or what ever I have and bring my money tomorrow for a headstart. Is that okay with you?

    ReplyDelete
  61. @mr cheney
can i be in charge of collecting cans and recording numbers brought in?

    ReplyDelete
  62. I think by the end of this week we should aim for 250, unless we want to go high maybe 500

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think i'll be in charge of collecting money and recording cash

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Mr.Cheney: i think for reminding people most of us either have Facebook twitter or msn so who ever has a social chatting group can just remind.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @blue ranger: yea i had never thought of it that way then i guess as much as you can bring on the first day

    ReplyDelete
  66. Another thing would be the minimum can be $10 and 20 items so we can go beyond that to but i think its best if we start half so in the first week people should bring at least $5 and $10 not on the first day but during the first week we should add up to everyone in the class

    ReplyDelete
  67. Dont ask to be a leader

    Be a Leader

    ReplyDelete
  68. @Mr.Cheney: ok will do! so i will help collect the money and mark it down not only me other people can help too!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. @Luigi: don't get you hopes up only a few people are on this post so we aren't sure if the rest of the class saw this and knows what our plan is....so i'm not so sure if we will have about 500 by the end of the week i'm not saying we cant we can but its like a 25% chance. Because i don't see a lot of participation on saying yes i will be committed to helping with the food drive. So....

    ReplyDelete
  70. Everyone is talking about getting this done,
But we haven't taken complete action yet.
We'll see how our class is doing by the end of this week.
I think with the enthusiasm and spirit, we should get if not 100%, 80% of participation.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @wordnerd: we haven't been to school yet we will have to wait and see over the week because remember we have been planning over the weekend but im still a bit worried about the rest of our classmates that still haven't posted a comment or haven't seen this yet because wonder if they dont know anything about this at all

    ReplyDelete
  72. I think with enough teamwork we can do this but like mr.cheney said if it took us 2 weeks to bring in like $10 its going to be hard to do around $240 in 2 weeks
But if we can do so We have to check the money over in the morning,Lunch and afterschool so we know none of the money fell out or went missing and like what happened last year was if you couldnt bring the money you bring extra cans if you couldnt bring the cans you bring extra money

    ReplyDelete
  73. I think that if we all bring $1 per day till the end of the event we should have alot of money to donate and bring 3-??? cans a day then we could make alot by then. But the problem is the participation. Im ready to do it because last year i brought alot of things so this year I hope I can do the same.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @ anurag
do you think people are dedicated to bring $1 eaach day?

    ReplyDelete
  75. but my thing is $24 in one day yea but think about the poppy money we still haven't got everyone to bring in a dollar so how much do you really think we can get in 1 day?

    ReplyDelete
  76. @Blackranger, I really dont think many people would bring a dollar a day because either they would forget or something but i dont really think that would happen. We could start with $10 dollers per person because we have less time and $10n a day would really be a good start.

    ReplyDelete
  77. but one good thing is that it has only been 2 days and we already have 20 dollars and 23 items so that's not bad

    ReplyDelete
  78. sry $10 and 10 items per person

    ReplyDelete
  79. Yes Princess Daisy that was a good start but we still need full class partipcipation.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @ janat
is that official that we are doing $10 and 10 items?

    ReplyDelete
  81. @jan 101 yes it was a very good start thanks to me for the 20 items and sonali for 3 items....prabjot for 10 dollars sonali for 5 dollars and also tulsi for 5 dollars only team 7 is helping come on you guys we need everyone to help not just team 7

    ReplyDelete
  82. @wordnerd: no we have decided to do 10 dollars and 20 items

    ReplyDelete
  83. I think we should all start off with 5 dollars and 5-10 cans each. We can buy diapers with the money because it is strongly needed. Also in terms of points, 1 diaper= 2 points. I can bring the money, not the cans tomorrow. Yes our participation hasn't been that great, but also keep in mind that all of the previous fundraisers relied on every student bringing money. That is no problem for some, but for some it is due to financial issues. We have to take that into consideration when we talk about how it isn't full participation. All of us want to participate, but some face
barriers and there is no choice but no.

    ReplyDelete
  84. okay thanks.

    @ buttercup
    i agree.
i think we should have the items as 10.
    but 20 is also good.
    we are getting more done.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @buttercup: yes that is what we have decided like the amount a person should bring in total is 10 dollars and 20 items but we don't need all of it at once like one day bring 5 dollars and a couple of food items then bring a couple more dollars and then yeaa

    ReplyDelete
  86. @Mr.Cheney: for the trip tomorrow are we allowed to wear uniform ? you said yesterday you would ask but i forgot to ask you today

    ReplyDelete
  87. Yes, we want full participation, that participation can take on many "forms", so if money is a issue, then we need to find another way to get involved.

As I mentioned earlier, you as a class need to all participate in the decision for a plan. Some have moved ahead but others have not voiced their opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  88. 5 dollars / 7 can food items each

    25 x 5 =$ 125...15cents per diaper
    7 x 25 = 175 items

this could be a middle of the road plan...it is not over the top, but not so cheap that we can't get over 1000 items. You need 100 participation in voting for the plan. before we go much further on.

    ReplyDelete
  89. @mr cheney
i agree with this plan, if we get 100%participation we can easily get 450 items, plus the amount of items people are bringing

    ReplyDelete
  90. @mr cheney
whos going to the blogging conference?

    ReplyDelete
  91. @mr Cheney that's like 833 diaper if one diaper is 15 cents

    ReplyDelete
  92. @vinay
yea and plus what everyones bringing. but also, 1 diaper = 2 items so 1000 atleast easily

    ReplyDelete
  93. 1 diaper is worth 2 items? really, this is new.

@Neha, don't rush to bash on team 8, they brought no cans or money because very few had done any homework. They have performed poorly over the last few days but have been amazing before that. As well, let the teacher tell people to get it together. Ultimately its my job as the captain of the ship to be tough and harsh when necessary.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Neha and Nicole or going on the workshop.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I think the plan would work , but i agree we would need class participation because we don't really have to think about winning with the the most items but for all those people out there without food and are sick from hunger and are living in a horrible way, so donation food to the food banks would help all those people out there.

    ReplyDelete
  96. if we have everyone bring in 10 dollars each = 250 dollars a box of 50 diapers would be about $7.50
250/7.50= 33.33= about 33 boxes of diapers 33x50= 1650 points so if everyone does bring in $10 each we can get 1650 points
But we can also do 5 dollars each we might no get up to 1650 points but we can get about 1000 points

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Mr. Cheney, yes one diaper is worth 2 points. Its new this year because diapers are highly needed. If we go with the $5 and 7 cans:

    833x 2= 1,666
    1,666+175=1,841

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Mr.Cheney: ok i guess your right.....but i will for sure remind most of the people to bring in items and money !

@Toadette: yes very good point but you forgot its 2 points for 1 diaper so 1650 x 2 = 3300 if we get even just about 1000 points it wont be bad.....umm lets see
    5dollars each = 125
    50 diapers=7.50
    125/7.50=16.66= 16 boxes x 50 =800 x 2 = 1600
    so its not bad
    125/7.50= 16.66= 16 boxes x 50 = 800

    ReplyDelete
  99. @ buttercup
did you add the estimated diapers that mr.cheney buys?

    ReplyDelete
  100. now here is the time for the big plan.

I want to donate our Pizza Lunches into boxes of Diapers.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I'd still love 10 bucks per student because I always want to beat our previous best score. But it seems 5-7 bucks per student could be the way to go

    ReplyDelete
  102. so the pizza lunch money how much it costs will go to the diapers which you'll buy?

    ReplyDelete
  103. I figure our pizza lunches are worth $40 each, Ill buy diapers and then cash it in with office. I would expect to get 500 diapers with 80 bucks

if you look for sales I can get diapers for 10 to 11 cents each

    ReplyDelete
  104. @ mr.cheney
did you see the poll results so far? so far it's mostly $5 plus cans

    ReplyDelete
  105. also I see and read the rhino newspaper story and are we supposed to answer that yet I don't see a new post if there is supposed to be one.

    ReplyDelete
  106. add in the double points and the pizza lunches we can still score something special, important, and importantly make a difference.

    ReplyDelete
  107. The newspaper link, is just a link to kids news. No post for it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  108. @Mario, yes. Mr. Cheney said one diaper is $0.15. If we go with the $5 plan, we would have $125.

    125/0.15= 833
    833 x 2= 1,666

1,666 Plus actual food cans our class brings in

    ReplyDelete
  109. 24.97 for 156 diapers

at Walmart, that is 16cents per diaper

    ReplyDelete
  110. @ Nicole, add in the pizza lunch money

    ReplyDelete
  111. plus the pizza lunch money $80 that mr.cheney is going to sacrifice for the good cause.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Well, adding the Pizza's money we could go better and I think we should at least try the idea of 5-7 at first and if we get all participation , then we can raise it for more.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Mr. Cheney, I think its a good idea to cash in our pizza lunches and use the money to buy diapers. I'm in for that idea.

    ReplyDelete
  114. 156 diapers x 2 points each= 312extra points added to 1,666 points.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Yes, I agree to use the pizza lunches for GOOD rather then self interest.

Its not a sacrifice though! We didn't do much to earn them, and it displays good morals and values to give away our luxuries, so others can cloth their babies.

    ReplyDelete
  116. We should get 2 plus boxes for our pizza lunch around 400.

    ReplyDelete
  117. perhaps a job of our leaders should

1 poll the class privately and find out what people or going to contribute

2 a team to check online for the best deals

    ReplyDelete
  118. Glad to see some of grade 8 get into the flow tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  119. @Mr.Cheney: amazing idea's i can find some deals online but one thing is will you do online shopping or will you go the the store?

    ReplyDelete

    Our Price: $12.34

And here is one that i think can help its a new brand and it has i think 94 diapers and is for 10 dollars which is good because if alot of us do bring in $10.00 we can have 94 x 2 = 188 points so if all of us bring in 188= 1 person so then 188 x 25 = 4700! we can have 4700 point right there!

    Our Price: $10.00

    ReplyDelete

  124. http://www.huggies.com/en-CA/promotions/coupons

This site had printable coupons and whenever there is special offers , we could simply go on the site to check them out.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I was searching up diapers, and cloth diapers can we give , so can we use cloth diapers or not?

    ReplyDelete
  126. cloth are very expensive, baby wipes and diapers are not the same thing.

find out the price per diaper...total price divided by the amount of diapers

  128. @Mr Cheney where do you get 15 cent diapers from ?

    ReplyDelete
  129. 125 Divided by 15 equals 833 but I found out that the diapers are counted as 2 points so 833x2 equals 1666 and plus everything i think where going to bring about 1800 diapers and items.

  130. @ Mr Cheney Everyone is saying that we have basketball tryouts tomorrow is this true ?

    ReplyDelete
  131. @Blueranger, I think we will pass our little goal of 1000 and make it higher but i think mrcheney said $6 per person.

    ReplyDelete
  132. @ blue ranger
    Wednesday after school
    and Thursday morning

    ReplyDelete
  133. @Mr.Cheney: oh okay , I can try to find some more coupons and things like that ... It seems often pampers or huggies are priced at around 19 cents per diaper not on sale at somewhere like Target and plus the only closest target to the school is in
    niagra falls
    Boulevard Mall
    North Buffalo
    Eastern Hills
    Walden Galleria
You can often get diapers below 15 cents a diaper if you look for deals and use coupons.

  134. @ JAN101 yea we will pass it big time if everyone participates and does there part and brings in i think 6$ is good but if people can bring in more we should bring in more we shouldn't just stop because we got over 1000 we should keep going but it depends if everyone does 100% participation.

    ReplyDelete
  135. 1000 is a nice goal...we hit just over 3000 last year!

Girls Volleyball is tomorrow morning, Boys Basketball as Abeeshan said is Wednesday after school and Thursday morning.

  144. I was think we can start small and we bring a dollar each everyday and then we just keep bringing a dollar until our whole class has brought in a 10 dollars each and then when we are bringing a dollar a day try to bring 3-5 items a day.

    ReplyDelete
  145. slow and steady i see Stanley

    great research Janat!!!

@Janat keep up the great work you are one of the top three most consistent bloggers

    ReplyDelete
  146. @ MrCheney like they say slow and steady wins the race.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @Mr.Cheney: tryouts is at 8 in the morning right?

@GreenRanger: yes ! but we don't want to be too slow

    ReplyDelete
  148. Yes i will contribute but, most likely with a bit difficulty.

I think we should bring in about $3 at the start for the people that can bring in that minimum amount.Afterwards, we can go and add up by a dollar at the time of maybe each 1-2 days each dollar our class goal should be about 1500 can food items reflecting upon our earlier contributes like the Terry Fox money that and this was for a great cause.Yet, if you say can I have money for the can food drive for for the people that barely have a house to live in that would let us know that we are hypocrites which we aren't so that is my thought.

I'm not so great at leadership but I would like to do the organization for our class.

I know I haven't been on for a long time sorry I just didn't have my hands on the computer 7:00.

    ReplyDelete
  149. one thing for motivation i made a blog so if people want they can follow it ..its basically everyday i will post the homework but also reminders so everyday .i will remind people about the food drive and other events
    http://78homeworkremindersblog.blogspot.com/

    ReplyDelete
  150. @WordNerd: I agree that many people will do it.
    @Jan101: I guess $10 would be good.

    ReplyDelete
  151. @Greenranger: I was thinking of the same too. Some people can't bring in $10 straight like that. It does take time for it to happen. Like Tarry fox.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Anybody know about how much food items we should bring because i have no idea of how much I should bring the day after tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Yeah, Tushar and Anurga. Glad to hear from you!

yes Neha, it is at 8.

Blog is very interesting. I will add it as a tab on the tool bar

    ReplyDelete
  154. @Jan101: We could get 16 boxes of diapers then!
300/17.95=16.71 diapers. Almost 17 with a extra few dollars. 16x64=1024 diapers

    ReplyDelete
  155. @Mr Cheney: I been places thats why Im not able to be on the blog.

    ReplyDelete
  156. @Tushar: I think about 10-??? thats what I was hearing.

    ReplyDelete
  157. @Mr Cheney: Not really. Things here and there.

    ReplyDelete
  158. @Anurag, class computers are available in the morning, at lunch, and after school.

    ReplyDelete
  159. @Anurag, oh okay, so lets not justify not blogging, instead make a plan to blog.

    ReplyDelete
  160. @Mr Cheney: When does the event start?

    ReplyDelete
  161. but as I said, good having you on the blog!

    ReplyDelete
  162. Can we start bringing in stuff? Where does the money go to after the event is over?

    ReplyDelete
  163. @ Anurag I'll probably bring about 8 - 10 depending on what type of time i have.I am not sure.
@Mr. Cheney This years getting really busy.wow.

    ReplyDelete
  164. @Anurga, read the blog entries, I take the cash we fund raise and I go out and buy as many diapers as I can

    ReplyDelete
  165. @Tushar: I dont get you? Type of time?

@Mr Cheney:I missed that one! So if all of bring in that 10=$300 we can get about 16 boxes?

    ReplyDelete
  166. @ Anurag Sorry i got mixed up with bringing diaper boxes and getting money so take the time out.

    ReplyDelete
  167. We can rock the food drive...you got it Anurag

    ReplyDelete
  168. @Mr Cheney I'm not so sure if everybody can bring in $17.00 just thinking of the Terry Fox Drive but, we will put our heart in it.

    ReplyDelete
  169. @tushar
its around 17.00$ per box, so i think about 64 in a bag

    ReplyDelete
  170. I think we should have a great start and if anything when we have a huge lead we can slow it down just by a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  171. we can start small and get bigger as we go along

    ReplyDelete
  172. I think that like how Stanley said if we can at least bring in 20 cans and $10 per day we can do this like last year we didn't bring it all together we brought it in slowly and i can look for some good deals with Stanley on some websites and find online coupons

    ReplyDelete
  173. for your information the name is tulsi :)

    ReplyDelete
  174. i think we should bring $10 and 20 can food items

    ReplyDelete
  175. we can start with items that you can bring in and if you tell your parents on the weekend you can ask your parents to help you out

    ReplyDelete
  176. i agree i think we should start big because mr.cheney said the previous classes never started small in addition to that we only have like 13 or 12 days
