I think that Scott will do something worse to David then just 'talk'. And that Scott will fight David in front, but then when they see the principle they will take it outside.

Why did David do the extra part of the project without Sean? How is he going to teach everything to Sean? Is Sean going to be okay when he tells the class about it?

i think that while David is explaining everything about the cell regegneration project he will aventually forget everything that David told him because he might freak out when he's in the front of the classroom and when everyone's staring at him.
I think that maybe in the end he and Sean will walk again, they will be on the same Basket-ball team. But there will be an operation for David before that happens.

Unless this book might have a happy ending..but still its unrealistic for him to get his legs back in his situation.

It might be possible to do a surgery for his leg nerves to regenerate, but be realistic for a second, if this was just discovered and really high tech, think about this society and how much they would put a price on this. Im thinking its something very few people can afford

i researched and found out that spinal cord repair has made enormous progress in recent years. Spinal Research now hopes for the regeneration of four centimetres of spinal cord in a paralysed person. I think that Sean really wants to leave but he knows that if he leaves and something happens to David , Sean will get blamed for it.

Those teenagers are really stupid, they think David's not a person just because he's in a wheelchair. I don't think Sean will get in that much trouble for this fight because he had a good reason, defending his friend. David's at some fault for this fight though.

@Olga Did that person get in a wheelchair because of an injury in the spinal cord? Your grandpa had a disease that effects the elderly, david got injured in his spinal cord from an accident, completely different.

ReplyDelete@Nicole so they research the concept of regeneration(which theyve already done) but to an extent with that info what are they going to do it would be difficult for them to create like a million cells for like a hand and like i said before if they fuse animal cells with a human cells all of the human race

ReplyDeleteThose teenagers are really stupid, they think David's not a person just because he's in a wheelchair. I don't think Sean will get in that much trouble for this fight because he had a good reason, defending his friend. David's at some fault for this fight though.

ReplyDeletei thinhk sean threw punch but they won't punch him back because some lady is going to stop her car near them and then the older boys will run away.after that the lady will offer david and sean a ride.
i think that David and the other two guys are not going to try to stop the fight but join it because David was mad first and wanted to fight and the other two guys might want to defend their friend, and someone maybe a parent might see them and stop it so thats how the fight might start.

ReplyDeleteIt might end in a good way. The way Mr.Cheney reads it, it sound like it is real life. And in life Good things happen.
David will fix all of this by trying to use his wheel chair on mr.mcully when they find them, but it wont work.The highschool looking people will get in serious trouble Sean has his mom and dad callled and he gets grounded. The highschoolers might go to juvy or jail.

ReplyDeleteIn real life, there is almost never a happy ending, since this book is really realistic, someone like david probably will never get his legs back, why do you think you see people in wheelchairs? because they dont have enough money for something high tech and newly discovered like nerve regeneration.
The only reason why David gets into so many fights because he loses his temper so easily, he probably got into many fights before the accident

ReplyDeleteDid that person get in a wheelchair because of an injury in the spinal cord? Your grandpa had a disease that effects the elderly, david got injured in his spinal cord from an accident, completely different.
