I think in the end of the story Sean ,David and Scott will be really good friends and Scott will realize that by smoking and doing bad things dosent make you cool at all.
The moral of the story will be friendship is the best thing that could ever happen to you . And friendship isn't about taking things for granted. Also it doesn't matter who you are friends with either a disabled person or some who is perfectly fine they will alway be by your side no matter what at that's what my friends did
Mr.McCully will realize he was all wrong about Sean because when Sean became friends with David he showed a different side of him.So now when ever someone gets into a fight Mr.McCully will make each other hang around and be friends so they can show their inner part of them

I think the moral will be forget the past and worry about the presant. i say this because, david and sean got into a fight really early , and i think later in the story david would help sean make the team. Then sean and david would forget the past and become friends
I think David will introduce wheelchair basketball to Sean, and Sean will end up playing in a wheelchair for a team David plays in, he will experience what David experiences everyday, it was his chance to step into David's shoes. I think Mr.McCully will eventually catch Scott smoking and that will make him realize what those cigarettes do nothing good for him, so he starts playing basketball again, but joins wheelchair basketball with Sean and David.
And together the three boys will work together with David's leadership to win a game at the very end of the book.
David, on a daily basis puts his mind before his disadvantage. In basketball, he puts his skill before his disadvantage. I think that the moral that the author was trying to give out will be figured out at the end. Maybe the author was thinking of a moral more specific then general. I think the moral is that willpower can conquer physical difficulties. So thats kinda like "Mind over Matter."
I think Sean and Scott will be representing everyone who is not living with difficulties, so basically people like me. And they will both realize all those struggles while playing basketball. They will feel great respect for David and how he puts his mind over his disadvantage.
although it didn't say in the book that Scott was jealous i think that he will be because he will start to realize that Sean is hanging out with David more then his best friend SCOTT himself.
Good point David might not be allowed to play because he's in a wheelchair but who knows. Like they said in the book that they feel srry for David so they might as well let him play u nvr noe

I think that in some point of the book, Sean and Scott will get into a fight about who's friend will he be, David's or Scott's, beacuse David and Scott start playing basketball after one day of school,so they have a fight saying that David is a better player that Scott and Scott is saying that he is a better player. After that fight Sean doesn't know who to pick so he told David that he is on his side, mean time he still hangs out with Sean after school to play basketball. After one day of school,they both notice that this fight was useless So in the end they all will be best friends and that they will all go to an athletic high school.

I think that at the end of Rebound David and Sean make the Basketball Team, and they become friends but every body makes fun of David because he's in a Wheelchair.Then... Shean stands up for David and tells every body to back off.Later David is healed and doesn't have to be in his wheelchair anymore and then everybody treats him normally.
I think the moral of the story is never letting what you want to do rest. Due to the fact that some people are trying to stop you by either influencing you to stop or infulencing you to do drugs. They're doing this to prevent you from doing something you really like.
