Homelands Sr. Middle School looks a little bit like Beaumonde. The hallways are like our hallways in the new part of Beaumonde (library, middle school classes)The Cafeteria doesn't look like our lunch room, its way bigger and the tables are very long since the school has a lot of kids. The classrooms are like normal classrooms, there are single desks lined up in rows and the teacher's desk at the front. The gym is like our gym, basketball court with hoops...The main lobby is like ours. Some of theese places i didn't actually visualize because there wasn't a scene with some of those settings...
in homeland middle school's gym there's the school logo on the middle of the floor and the floor is brown with lines like our school i think the classroom has groups of four tables with white tiles on the floor with the typical chalkboard in the front.Lastly i think that the cafeteria has a store maybe like pizza pizza to buy food for sure my instincts tell me it's a huge cafeteria due to the amount of children.
i think that homeland middle schools gym probably look like our gym but without the stage or the lunch tables.
the cafiteria probably does not look like our i think that it will have a huge cafeteria with round table which about five people could sit around it.i think that because caroline, lisa, christina, david and sean were sitting on one table.in my visualization they also have big kicthen with lunch ladys cooking in there because that it where i think sean brought lunch for david and him.
i think the classrooms in homeland high probably have a desk for one student to sit not like our desk that attach with another desk.but like 5 desk in a row and 6 in a columns and in front of the desk is the blackboard.
i think the hallways probably look like our for example after 15-20 locker there is a class room.in addition i visualize that there are three stair just before math class, the one david jumped off of.
i think the front of the school has 4 step and a ramp beside the stairs with a canadian flag.
How Homeland Middle School is going to look like is when you enter the school you will see the office on the right side and you will see big door right in front that is the big gym and you then see a huge hall way that guides you to all rooms from kindergarten to grade 5 if you keep going you will see a huge library if you wall back to the office you will see another hall way that goes to a stage if you keep walking you will then see doors that lead you to the back of the school before you go out and you turn left you will see a cafeteria based on the book
@mr cheney even i imagine a carpet in the main loby but it is black and only is near the main doors because when it rain and students enter from the front door they could wipe their feet.also the carpet as welcome written on it.

Their cafeteria is huge with a canteen in it. the classrooms are the same but, instead of black boards their is white board. gym has a basketball court just like the ones in BHJMS but the gym is bigger due to the amount of students. The main lobby is decorated with several colors and Mr.Mcully's office has a computer desk, his chair and a big black sofa.
@am17 good point I think a school cannot be rich just because there more students.but a school can be rich if each studet has to pay a registration fee.
i think homelands sir.Middle school looks kinda old like and the hallways look like there staright down the school and the class rooms are right at the sides of the hallways with the lockers,drinking fountains, and washrooms.The cafeteria looks big with round table all over and to the right of the cafeteria theres the place where u go line up to go get your lunch white walls with wooded gery tables and plastic blue chairs.The class room the desk are straight down in rows and columns face the chalk board and teachers desk at the front with the the same wood desks we have n same chairs with book shelfs.the gym is way bigger than ares and the have basketball nets change rooms benches like are gym.The main lobby looks something like ares but more space and thers benches inside and out and thers desks storage around.Mr.McCullys office looks like theres one black leather roll around chair where mr.McCully seat withis desk and file drawers and one or two chairs right in front of mr.McCullys desk where students seat and right out side theres benches where sean and scott use to seat but not for scott.
i see that the hallways have lockers like beaumonde except its are more like the the seveners have good and properlly used lockers and the eights misuse it moreo on purpose.( its like when you are in grade eight every one suddenlley think that they are the rulers of the whole school," their school" so im guessing their lockers are not horrible but not bad either. i think the building from the outside looks like beaumonde. i also see that the floors in the hallways are clean and has proper flooring tiles. the gym has perfect lines for basketball and the gym is the actual size of the basketball courts like the ones you see in the real game. the main lobby is like the hall of fame for students and teachers that have been in this school and have successed in the past. also im guessing the class rooms are neat and tidy just like at beaumonde. also ithink that mr.mccullys office is exactly like ms.mcmahons office with the bech out side.
In Homeland, it make s me think of Beaumonde & Smithfield. It seems like Homeland is much bigger and more rooms. The field outside is big and has a skate ramp as Smithfield. The hall way seems a bit bigger then Beaumonde & SMS because it kinda seems more space. The classroom is probally the same size as all class room. Both school do not have a cafatiria but SMS does have a side sell. Main lobby probally is like the office there so it is the same. The gym is much bigger because the school seems alot bigger and richer. Teacher room is like the same as any other school
I think Homeland Sr. Middle Schools looks old on the outside with brown bricks and somewhat dusty windows, but the inside is clean with polished, shiny hallway floors,with brown doors with a square window on the inside. I think the cafeteria has white round tables with polished floors then to the right of the cafeteria is the kitchen and where they serve the food, the classroom looks like our classroom with the same floors but the board is at the front then the teachers desk is in front of it, then in front of the teachers desk is the students desk and there single desks and not connected with other desks, and i also agree that the gym has the school logo on the floor then the benches on the sides and has basketball nests
i visualiing that as soon as i step into the school i see a trophy case with a bunch of trophys that are won by students for soccer,basketball,swimming,spelling bee.
Homelands Senior Middle school is a really big school, but because there's not a lot of students so there's a lot of empty classrooms. Students like to sneak in there during lunch periods. As soon as you enter there's a big logo of the school in the centre on the floor. The school office is at the right-hand side instead of the left. There's a flight of stairs straight ahead of you and almost like a fork in the road there are 2 hallways to the right and the left. The grade 6's classroom's are to left and the grade 7's classroom's are to the right, the grade 8 students however get to use the upstairs with its big empty hallways. There aren't a lot of bathrooms in the school, there's only one handicap bathroom that David can use. Their gym is a real basketball court which gets waxed everyday, and in the summer they put new lines. They have a huge parking lot in the back. The cafeteria has tables and chairs some of them are reserved like the jocks, the clowns and such. There's a bunch of middle age ladies that serve some pretty okay food. Most of the students there are good but, once the teacher turns his back pencils start flying.
Maybe its because our minds want the school to be rich you cant really imagine a poor school being cool, with rich schools you can imagine all you want a skateboard park in the back, swimming pool, soccer field with REAL lines...
i think the school will almost be like beaumonde. i think it will have the same halls as us, but a bit wider, and they will mostly look like the hallways our class is in. i also think there will be a lot of turns like in elmbank because sean said it is confusing getting around.
i think the gym will be bigger because it is a middle school, and when there are dances, and im pretty sure 75% of the kids will go to the dance and i dont think our gym would fit. it could, like for example, our assemblies, but we are always all crowded, and i dont think that it would be a good idea to fit like 300- 400 people in a gym dancing.
i think the main foyer will be not that similar to ours. i think the office will be at the side of a hall with a bench outside.
i think there will be a room for the principal and vice principal in the office.( both separate) and i think the office is about our size.
i think the cafeteria will be like TCI's because it is going to have a lot of people, but like it said in the book: people have lunch at different times. there will not be benches. instead round tables to eat your food. ( i think 4 or 5 people should fit per table and there are not round tables at TCI this is just what i think).
there will be rooms, and it will all be one floor. but it will be like the intermediate section at the top. there is one floor, and a few stairs going down and there will be another floor with classes. for example, in the book it said the math class was down.
i think there will be 2 elevators; one on each end.
im guessing that there will be about 6 bathrooms for each gender. and about 15 water fountains.
i think the classrooms will be like ours, but may be a bit bigger, and have the same wooden desks as are in our class.
i think the school field will be a bit bigger than our school's, but around the same. i think that the only concrete there is for the basketball courts, and a little more around the school doors. ( i think there will be 6 entrances).
i think the library is like our one. but it will not have those kids books. just chapter books, and non fiction books. there will be a variety for genres. the computer lab will be in its own separate room with around 40 computers.
I am thinking that the school won’t be that wealthy but will be something like our school
Hallways think the hallways will have lockers on one side and there will be fountains in once and almost every hallway. The floors will be a random colour so like an unusual colour. There will be a bulletin board in ever hallway and are different sizes so people can post different things for ex. VOTE FOR ME AS DEPTY! (BTW GRADE7'S VOTE FOR ME NEHA (ME) AS DEPUTY!!!) :D
Classrooms think all the classrooms will be the same size,umm I think their classrooms won’t be that big but also won’t be that small there will be plenty of rooms for everything so a French room ,music room, science lab/room etc. etc..Maybe all the classrooms will have a goos tray because they are trying to be eco friendly
Lobby: when you enter in there will be a huge showcase and maybe another bulletin board on you right there will be a huge office that has everything in it, on you left there will be a photo copying room and hidden around the corner will be only staff washrooms
Cafertirea: i think the cafeteria will look something like a gym but is not a gym there won’t be much space to move around in on the far end there will be these things that showcase the food and the lunch ladies will stand behind and serve food: P
Gym: there will be 2 gyms a small one and a big one there will be a huge one umm I think the layout will be the same as ours and there will be a storage room but one thing I might think there will be is a lock room .
i think that will be basketball *i know.there will be a huge playground with swing curly slide etc there will a baseball diamond with no grass on it and soccer field.
@malav if you say the school has 6 washroom for each gender don't you think the library should be a little bigger like the size of 1 and a half of our library .due to the fact that about only half of our library is filled with books and the other half is ocuppied by the computer and the stage.
@ sana no because imagine our WHOLE library filled with books. i said that there will be a separate room filled with computers so i think our library should be a good amount
@Sana yes i was referring to the garde 2 and 3 hallway but all of them were the same but they were brand new hallways.Sana they were the same shape as albion hills but they were much bigger because the amount of the kids in the school
I viasualize the hallways and classes would be slightly bigger than beaumonds as there are more students. I also think that there would be a cafeteria they would have sperate tables for each class, with maybe a shop there to buy food.I also see that there would be school banners from sport teams on the top of the wall in the gym. i allso visualize maybe 3-4 portables outside, and in the library there would be many shelves for the books and at the back of the library there would be all the computers and also to the side there would be desks and chairs facing a smart board.
I visualize that the gym will have their school teams logo in the middle and have basketball hoops on each end of the court, and have a basket ball rack.
I think the hallways would be flooded with lockers because it seems like their is alot of children in the school, and also have a Painted ceiling and have air conditioning in parts of the school.
I think the the main room will have a big office for the workers and teachers and will be decorated with flowers and other things.
The classroom will have a white board at the front and have a line and row for each student. The cafeteria will have a big table for each group so they can go into their friends groups at will when they want to and need to, it will also have the cafeteria lunch ladies on the other side of the cafeteria.
Is everyone just picturing your dream school or being realistic? I just said what i visualized... I visulized the school being like beaumonde because its a school im used to seeing. But also having a little bit like the school Cummer Valley Midddle School (school i go to for language classes in north york) because theyre both middle schools and with a large population.
so in my head I imagined that the front of the school is all glass and the sides look like our school and it's a really big school and it's a new school and rich. the hallway is like big and and lockers and kid are everywhere and the main lobby is all glass and I imaged it like ours the gym is all new shiny and big and the cafateria looks like a big conter at the side with ladys there and giving food to kids and theres bunch of tabes round ones.
From what i saw in my head i imagined the front of the school sort of being like the white house with the big pillars than the ramp and the stairs right beside it and there were the side railings and scott sat on the railings and sean sat on the ramp and for the stairs and hallway i thought of TCI because to get to there Auditorium i thought of it because theres the long empty hallway and than they have the stairs and instead of the auditorium there would be classes and than a teacher pokes her head out with an evil grin :|. The Gym would be like a gym at a Scool called Cederbrea in Scarborough and it had the gym like ours but bigger and higher up the walls on one side they have a fitness room and on the other side they have like hockey nets and stuff for storage-ish and then they have Bleachers and the gym Floors are freshly polished and painted and they had banners on the wall. Theyre library seemed like it was like ours but to seprate the Computer lab theres a glass wall and its more organised ish theyre rows of shelves and than theyre are comfy seats and its more of a circular shape too the library :D
@Lisa and Mr.Cheney Strange, for me i just think that it would be a regular school like ours, nothing special. If it was a really nice school i think Sean would have mentioned that Homelands was better looking then the last school he went to or something.
Homelands Sr. Middle School is a school bigger than Beaumonde Heights JMS. It is a colourful school full of kids. They had a very big cafeteria, full of food that is accutaly good not the cpeap crapy ones other schools have. If you come to this school during class time, you will see alot of ditchers. Most of them will be the nerds of the school, because the teaching is not so good. If you go into the gym, you will see that most of the students there are very good in Basketball! In this school you will see alot of fights going on. The gym would be the hang out place for all the people that would want to be on the basketball team. Every classroom would have a big chalkboard and a big dry erase board. I also see that every class room has a differnt colour paint. In the main room has a very colourful place. In there you will see alot of students and you will see alot of workers. This main room has everything that a student needs. The libary is a place that has alot more books than Beaumonde. This is a place where you will see all the nerds, working on there projects, adjusting there esay's and alot more. That is how I imagine Homelands Sr. Middle School.

I have a vision of big and open, with high ceilings and hardwood floors. And old school that has been kept in great shape!

They don't play a lot of sports besides basketball but they have some really recognized talent in academics.

ReplyDeleteI viasualize the hallways and classes would be slightly bigger than beaumonds as there are more students. I also think that there would be a cafeteria they would have sperate tables for each class, with maybe a shop there to buy food.I also see that there would be school banners from sport teams on the top of the wall in the gym. i allso visualize maybe 3-4 portables outside, and in the library there would be many shelves for the books and at the back of the library there would be all the computers and also to the side there would be desks and chairs facing a smart board.
ReplyDeleteI visualize that the gym will have their school teams logo in the middle and have basketball hoops on each end of the court, and have a basket ball rack.
ReplyDeleteI think the hallways would be flooded with lockers because it seems like their is alot of children in the school, and also have a Painted ceiling and have air conditioning in parts of the school.
I think the the main room will have a big office for the workers and teachers and will be decorated with flowers and other things.
The classroom will have a white board at the front and have a line and row for each student.
The cafeteria will have a big table for each group so they can go into their friends groups at will when they want to and need to, it will also have the cafeteria lunch ladies on the other side of the cafeteria.
Is everyone just picturing your dream school or being realistic? I just said what i visualized...
ReplyDeleteI visulized the school being like beaumonde because its a school im used to seeing. But also having a little bit like the school Cummer Valley Midddle School (school i go to for language classes in north york) because theyre both middle schools and with a large population.
@sana so you think there will be 15-20 for a hallway or just for the class?

ReplyDeleteso in my head I imagined that the front of the school is all glass and the sides look like our school and it's a really big school and it's a new school and rich. the hallway is like big and and lockers and kid are everywhere and the main lobby is all glass and I imaged it like ours the gym is all new shiny and big and the cafateria looks like a big conter at the side with ladys there and giving food to kids and theres bunch of tabes round ones.

ReplyDeleteFrom what i saw in my head i imagined the front of the school sort of being like the white house with the big pillars than the ramp and the stairs right beside it and there were the side railings and scott sat on the railings and sean sat on the ramp and for the stairs and hallway i thought of TCI because to get to there Auditorium i thought of it because theres the long empty hallway and than they have the stairs and instead of the auditorium there would be classes and than a teacher pokes her head out with an evil grin :|. The Gym would be like a gym at a Scool called Cederbrea in Scarborough and it had the gym like ours but bigger and higher up the walls on one side they have a fitness room and on the other side they have like hockey nets and stuff for storage-ish and then they have Bleachers and the gym Floors are freshly polished and painted and they had banners on the wall. Theyre library seemed like it was like ours but to seprate the Computer lab theres a glass wall and its more organised ish theyre rows of shelves and than theyre are comfy seats and its more of a circular shape too the library :D

ReplyDeleteStrange, for me i just think that it would be a regular school like ours, nothing special. If it was a really nice school i think Sean would have mentioned that Homelands was better looking then the last school he went to or something.

ReplyDeleteHomelands Sr. Middle School is a school bigger than Beaumonde Heights JMS. It is a colourful school full of kids. They had a very big cafeteria, full of food that is accutaly good not the cpeap crapy ones other schools have. If you come to this school during class time, you will see alot of ditchers. Most of them will be the nerds of the school, because the teaching is not so good. If you go into the gym, you will see that most of the students there are very good in Basketball! In this school you will see alot of fights going on. The gym would be the hang out place for all the people that would want to be on the basketball team. Every classroom would have a big chalkboard and a big dry erase board. I also see that every class room has a differnt colour paint. In the main room has a very colourful place. In there you will see alot of students and you will see alot of workers. This main room has everything that a student needs. The libary is a place that has alot more books than Beaumonde. This is a place where you will see all the nerds, working on there projects, adjusting there esay's and alot more. That is how I imagine Homelands Sr. Middle School.
