Winning the Forms contest is meaningless if we don't follow it up with another great performance.
Lets brainstorm a class plan to raise money for this important event and again enhance the reputation of 87.
Any ideas? Any leaders?

ReplyDeletei think we should get into groups like tabish if you live in a different region you can fundraise there and we can fundraise in our own neighbour hoods so we can put all the money togeher and choose a representitive to smash a pie in youre face :D

I HEARD FROM MY FRIEND THAT IS IN MS.MERRAROS CLASS THAT MS.MERRAO ALREADY STARTED COLLECTING MONEY EVEN BEFORE WE HAD THE ASSEMBLEY SO WE GOTTA HURRY!!!! lol :P :P
we all should try our best in doing anything and tulsi said we should have like a mini dollar sotre thing so we can raise money for our class i wount mind to sit out at lunch and sell stuff we can do mini loot bags with candy in it or we can do like raffle's and there is like 2 or 3 winners and they win a a stuffed toy or even a bag filled with stuff from the dollar store im not lying but people will buy it i sat ourside last year and sold raffle tickets ant we rasied over 60$ because people wanted to win the stuffed animal
we can get some people to bake a few small items to sell n im sure people love to eat a few snacks before they go to lunch

if everyone is together, you will get less money per person.
if we go alone, there is a better chance t get more money for each person.
Yeah im probably gonna partner up with Vinay and go around fundraising and i think we should ask our aunts and uncles and "hustle" them for money because family usually gives and the elderly cause saom of them say since theyre gonna pass on theyll donate theyre money too cancer help and what not

2-5$ per student is good. you will learn how hard it is to collect from people. Everybody wants to contribute but seldom DO contribute.
I collected 10 per student for the food drive last year. It was tough to get, but it did get done.
some sort of sale is a great way to raise class money. great ideas.

this would produce $ 63
lets start small and work our way up.
I think you will discover that taking a lead and making a difference is A LOT more difficult then you anticipate.
moving people into action from talk is a challenging task
lets see how long it takes to get every student to bring in the money...assuming that we can reach that basic goal.

ReplyDelete@mr cheney its easy we can sell raffle tickets so people can win some stuffed toys. if not that then we can sell like chips at costco they are like 12.00 dollars for a box of 50 (well it was 12 when i bought it ) people will buy that . umm we can sell CANDY everyone loves candY!!! costco is also having a sale cause of Halloween THERE I GOT IT WE CAN MAKE HALLOWEEN LOOT BAGS WITH CANDY AND CHIPS EVEN THOUGHT ITS A MONTH AWAY WE CANS TILL DO IT ! !!

I think we can make like a yard or school sale and that everybody can bring in things that they don't need or just don't want. Just like last year everyone was selling things like microscopes. Or we can just bring in like 5 bucks each.
